Haven't uploaded mine yet, they'll be rubbish anyhow.

So far these are all (AFAIK) from Warseer, mainly by Mr. Philbrad, thanks to him and everyone else who snapped away.

No release date for Plastic demon prince/seekers..or much really.

"I'm afraid I can't talk about that" being the single most repeated phrase of the day IMO.
Mad

Some shots of the very impressive Space Wolf display/diaorama

This was a really cool looking display piece.

This is the model that won the Golden demon overall.

his stuff

Golden Demon didn't seem anywhere as busy as past years. Quality wise very good as usual.

But god damn I am sick to death of these muted, blended "realistic" tones. Might as well paint the fucking things in brown, ink 'em and be done. I'm not wanting to go back to the "Red period" but...BORING at the moment.

the ultimate taking the piss mini, wonderful - also now on the GW site http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/article.jsp?aId=4500006a

I'm actually impressed at how the GW team are keeping rumours under their hats at the moment, web team releasing pictures on the same day as they are get to the forums? anyone been sacked over leaks yet or just lots of threats?

will have to get the GF to renew my subscription for this...

I like the SW scene, mainly for the Wolf Guard charging at the Carnifex because IT'S BIG I'M SO HAPPY LETS KILL IT

Swimming 'Stealers are cool as well

I swear, on the three separate occassions I did the rounds of those particular display cases, none of those models were present - The Elysian Buggy I never saw, nor the Seekers et al. Were they put out later in the day Confused

I think I've read that the Deamon Prince and Seekers were removed from display quite early. Guess GW didn't want people to see them, which is strange as the Deamon Prince is in the latest Warriors of Chaos Army book.

Rather adds credence to the idea that GD was a disorganised cock-up... laughing

..new one ? You sure ?

Anyhoo...

Seekers and Prince were indeed removed at X o clock seemingly, buggy and others were all there.

.. you're just not a pro it would seem. Razz

See the WIP dragon above ? That is, I think the dark Elf/Malekith one for release next year. Hope they can find a way to release the one on the right too, looks great.

The Empire civilians are being released... but..gues what.. no one could say when. Direct only though AFAIK.

The "CGI" background stuff for the Tyranid releases. they make these for each of teh new races and then 'shop in the terrain and models in the foreground for the boxes, promo shots etc. Gorgeous stuff, very atmospheric. Spoke to the guys and suggested if they don't release them as posters then they should look into making them available as downloads/wallpapers for people's PCs. Hell, whack a calender in the corner like BL do and launch each one alongside each product release... highlight the release dates and voila !

.....yes....

.. someone had thought ahead.

Lots of lovely BL art on display in their area and around the authors, quite tempted by another HH cover poster but managed to resist. The pictures ( which he does in about 2 weeks I general !) are amazing when you get to see them unadorned.

On we go.

A nice WIP..looks Brettonian to me.

Just for Daniel some of Blanche's stuff. His sketch book was a joy to flick through. In the first snap..helpfully out of decent LOS he'd dicked about making Hrud/aliens using necron and new skaven parts. Very odd and cool looking.

..well I'm there....no one else is....looks like Fitzgerald's treasure is safe for another year then.

THis big bastard won...errr....best GW table ? Or something. Great model, as you can almost see the legs can hold multiple vehicles. A much more impressive display than the Prospero table.

Terrifying.

The rules for it are terrible though, needs a good FAQing.

... I could understand nearly 1 word in 3 of the grunting noise that seems to pass for English oop north.

Sorry, I meant the T'zentch model that Forge World had. Either way its pointless now as there is a pick of it in the upcoming Forge World thrread.

999 points of nastiness. Well worth its points from what I've seen/heard.

I wish it was me in the chair.

You too can now marvel as a near identical stream of amazing technique yet bewilderingly similar NMM and muted palette models flit past your eyes and win a GD award here.

Top stuff but.. deja vu every other model.
