My brother returns!

I have recently been painting terminators, this is the second of the second squad so far:

I also managed to grab a box of Eldars recently! I have no idea what to paint these days! Can’t wait for my Word Bearers to be done, means I can focus on some random minis!

I’ll try and do one for tomorrow, but I’m busy with birthdays and studying so it’s kinda taken up a lot of my spare time which is normally dedicated to a comic. I’ll have one comic up definitely next week.

As a general rule, I won’t be sticking to a schedule for the comic, if I can’t think of a script I’m not just gonna churn out crap wasting everyones time (some could argue I do that anyway ). However the strip is back, I think I’ll be trying for one a week, posted on a Friday. Weeks were I’m not studying I’ll try and do 2-3.

Friday should see another comic.

Next week I have exams so chances are there may only be the one comic on the Friday. Sorry, but uni takes priority over .jpgs.

I keep saying to myself “I’ll just do a pencil comic today” but they always look shit. So I end up using time to say, paint or to craft mines with inking the comic.

Friday may have to be a dreaded pencil comic, as I need to revise some more, and do boring house hold things.

Anyway, keep tuning in, there may be comics all next week as usual, but chances are there won’t be. Not that anyone reads any of this mind.

It’s late because I was rough as hell all day yesterday due to an overdose in alcohol.

I realise this isn’t exactly a good comic.

Lets be honest, the comic could essentially be re named “Grey Knight bashing” and the thing could run and run.

It’s difficult to come up with something original to say about how poor that codex is without someone else having thought of it first. I have no doubt in my mind, that somewhere, on some forum or web blog, someone has already used this script for today’s comic. Just yesterday someone on our own forum essentially came up with a script for today’s comic at the same time I did.

If you have been unclear as to the theme of this weeks comics, there are many flaws with the Grey Knights Codex.

Many.

However I have been told that the army list, and the rules surrounding the army are so far pretty sound. Maybe Mat Ward should just stick to rules writing, and not so much the fluff? I mean no disrespect to the guy. If I was getting paid to write and draw this comic I’d probably be on trial for some sort of heinous act against humanity. Thankfully I’m not paid, so I can continue to grind this axe without worry.

I have seen a petition to remove Mat Ward from the position of being able to write Codex books. Now, this is wrong. This is a guys career we are talking about. And whilst I agree he is accountable for this durge he has inflicted upon us in regards to the background material, he doesn’t deserve to lose his job. Christ we all make mistakes, and hopefully the next book with his name on it, will show that he has learnt from his mistakes.

Last night I had conceived of a wonderful way of summing up the problems with the codex, but in the light of day, my brain seems to have mislaid it. Maybe that’s what happened with this codex?
